The revamped assistant now supports English, Hindi, and Hinglish interactions via voice, text, or tap, enabling users to get personalized recommendations based on their historical preferences and behaviors. The update builds on Ixigo's prior partnership with OpenAI and positions TARA as a more conversational gateway for travel planning.
Trip Mode Consolidates Travel Essentials with Real-Time Alerts
A new Trip Mode aggregates boarding passes, baggage information, and travel alerts into a single dashboard. It also provides departure suggestions using live traffic data, helping users avoid delays and navigate airports more efficiently. The feature is designed to reduce friction during the travel journey.
Agentic Travel Flows Automate Background Tasks Permission-Based
Ixigo’s new agentic capabilities execute tasks automatically behind the scenes, such as sending boarding passes via WhatsApp, auto-updating Apple and Google Wallet entries, and coordinating hotel check-in. All agentic actions are permission-based, ensuring user control while accelerating the trend toward proactive, AI-led travel experiences.
